Terms and Conditions
We value transparency and trust
The Terms and Conditions of JESTHAM E-Commerce are a set of rules governing the relationship between JESTHAM and the buyer in every online transaction. These terms are designed to ensure that all parties involved clearly understand their rights, obligations, and responsibilities, creating a secure, transparent, and fair transaction experience.
Below are the main points of the JESTHAM E-Commerce Terms & Conditions:
Registration and User Account. Users are required to create an account with valid and accurate information. Users are fully responsible for the confidentiality of their account and password. Any violations, such as registering an account with false information or abusing the account, may result in suspension or termination of access according to JESTHAM's policy.
Products and Services. Product descriptions, prices, and availability may change without prior notice. JESTHAM is fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, including product details, prices, and available stock.
Order Process. An order is considered valid once payment has been successfully confirmed by the JESTHAM system. JESTHAM reserves the right to delay order shipments if technical errors, data discrepancies, or indications of fraud are found, in order to ensure the security and comfort of the transaction.
Payment. JESTHAM E-Commerce provides various payment methods, including:
- Cash on Delivery (COD)
- BRI Virtual Account
- BNI Virtual Account
- Permata Virtual Account
- CIMB Virtual Account
- Gopay
- QRIS
- ShopeePay
All payments must be made through the official channels provided by JESTHAM. Please note that payments made are non-refundable. Ensure the transaction is correct before completing the payment.
For payments using Cash on Delivery (COD), users must make an initial deposit. This deposit will be used as a guarantee when the COD delivery is made. If the COD delivery fails, the held deposit will not be refunded. The deposit amount withheld is equivalent to twice the shipping cost without any discount. The COD payment method cannot be used if the deposit balance is insufficient.
Additionally, users who make a deposit will receive a bonus voucher, which can be used to get a discount on products when placing an order. The voucher amount is IDR 10,000, with the number of vouchers given calculated by dividing the top-up amount by IDR 10,000.
Here is an example simulation of the voucher amount received and the deposit held:
Voucher Amount Simulation.
If a user deposits IDR 100,000:
- The voucher amount given is IDR 10,000 for every IDR 10,000 of deposit balance added.
- The number of vouchers received = 100,000 / 10,000 = 10 vouchers.
- Thus, the user will receive 10 vouchers worth IDR 10,000 each, which can be used for product discounts when placing an order.
Held Deposit Simulation
If a user deposits IDR 100,000 and chooses COD as the payment method for an order with a shipping cost of IDR 15,000 with a 10% discount (IDR 1,500), the final shipping cost becomes IDR 13,500:
- The deposit held as a guarantee for COD delivery = 2 x shipping cost, i.e., 2 x IDR 15,000 = IDR 30,000.
- If the COD delivery fails, IDR 30,000 will be withheld from the deposit and not refunded.
- So, if the COD delivery fails, IDR 30,000 will be deducted from the user's deposit. If the COD delivery is successful, the deposit balance will remain safe and can be used for future transactions.
Shipping and Returns. Shipping times depend on the shipping method chosen and the destination location. Currently, JESTHAM E-Commerce does not support returns or refunds for products. Therefore, users are advised to carefully review their orders before completing the transaction.
Privacy Policy. JESTHAM E-Commerce is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of users' personal information. The personal data provided will only be used for transaction and related services. JESTHAM will not share this information with third parties without user consent, except where required by law. This policy complies with applicable data protection regulations.
Limitation of Liability. JESTHAM is not liable for any losses arising from user negligence or errors made by third parties, such as logistics services. However, JESTHAM is fully responsible for the quality and authenticity of the goods sold through our platform, ensuring that the products meet established standards.
Force Majeure. JESTHAM is not liable for any service failure or delay caused by situations beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, system outages, political disruptions, or other emergencies. In such cases, we will make every effort to inform users and minimize the impact on the services provided.
Policy Changes. JESTHAM reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through our website. Users are advised to check the terms and conditions periodically to ensure they understand the latest applicable rules.
By having clear Terms and Conditions, JESTHAM E-Commerce can protect all parties involved, enhance user trust, and ensure that every transaction follows the established rules. These policies aim to create a safe, transparent, and fair shopping experience for all customers and sellers on our platform.
